Hi, I am Donovan Benjamin a fully qualified electrician who has skills in many different trades. I have been involved in home improvement for over 20 years, starting as a painter and decorator I quickly got the bug for home improvement and tried my hand at many different trades. I worked as a wood and Laminate floor fitter for a time before trying my hand at plumbing and bathroom fitting. I then included kitchen fitting (a job that I thoroughly enjoyed) and started my own business and opened a shop supplying and fitting kitchens and wooden flooring. It was during this time that I found that I had a natural skill for electrical work and began an electrical training course. Shortly after this, I became a Train Driver a job which I have done for over 18 years. I have since gone back to electrical work and completed my training and achieved the following qualifications: EAL Level 3 Award in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in dwellings. Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 2018 Edition Level 3 Award in the In-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) EAL Level 2 Award in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.
